Two pencak silat athletes Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta or Jogja UMY grabbed the gold and silver medals. They are the Institution Julpara, Viky Agribusiness students with gold medals and Ikhwanuddin Arif, a student of mechanical engineering earn a silver medal.
The award was obtained at the National Championship Between Pencak Silat student who held State Polytechnic Sriwijaya Palembang at 20 to 24 November 2018.
"Viky get medals category class B son of sparring while Ikhwanuddin category-grade son," said Muhammad Husni Mubarak, coach UMY.
To maintain and enhance such achievements, Husni is determined will be back honing physical techniques and of the athletes. As such, he will give you a menu of new and different exercises.
"Although the acquisition of this misses the target from the start. But, will continue to practice until the next event on the target get three gold medals can be realized, "said team coach UMY Yogyakarta. (*)
